Miki Medvedski
Hi! Name's Miki Medvedski. I do analogue photography in my free time. I shoot in black and white, because I have neither the possibility nor the motivation for colour, although I do experiment with colour sometimes. I don’t scan the negatives, only the final prints. I came to this after about 10 years of photography. Over that time, I went from shooting the usual 35mm film to medium format and large format. It slows you down and makes you think — plus, it gives you way more options when it comes to shooting and printing. My favourite themes are portraits (of both people and animals), street photography, and still-lives. Of course, it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t interpret those terms pretty broadly — so basically, everything I shoot fits into one of those categories. I share some of my work on Instagram @miki_medvedski — feel free to check it out.
